Wilma’s choice
Govancroft Pottery
c 1950's
The miniature book decanters appealed to me they are different and quirky and well used - they would tell a story.
The decanters were made by Govancroft Pottery in the East End of Glasgow. They were sold locally and exported globally. The Spirit of Scotland decanter was of course whisky. Every decanter tells a story, I imagine people carrying them on whatever journey they were on.
